Game Set & Match is a handmade metal lady tennis player at match point, racquet raised in victory, dressed in a smart striped skirt and yellow jumper straight out of a bygone tournament. Balanced on a hidden counterweight, she rocks gently from side to side at the lightest touch, her back leg swinging and her arms rising and falling in a triumphant rally, before settling back to rest.

Each piece is cut, shaped, assembled and hand-painted in a traditional blacksmith's workshop, in the spirit of the painted tinplate balancing toys of the Victorian and Edwardian nursery. Made in small batches, so no two are exactly the same, the little differences in the brushwork are the mark of proper handmade work.
