Prop It Up-Aeroplane Balance Model

Prop It Up is inspired by the daring spirit of early aviators and the golden age of propeller flight. With scarf trailing and nose pointed skyward, the figure captures the optimism and adventure associated with vintage aeroplanes and open skies.

Echoing the era of pioneering pilots and barnstorming displays, this expressive balance model suggests upward motion suspended in a moment of lift and possibility.

Handcrafted from metal in a traditional blacksmith’s workshop, each balance model is individually cut, formed, assembled and carefully hand-painted. The carefully weighted pendulum base allows the aircraft to rock smoothly into equilibrium, honouring the historic craft of mechanical balancing toys.

Produced in small batches, subtle variations in colour and finish are the natural marks of true handcraft, giving each piece its own distinctive character and collectible presence.
