Inspired by the heritage of English grass court tennis — where crisp whites, striped marquees and strawberries with cream mark the season — this expressive balance model suggests movement suspended at match point.

Handcrafted from metal in a traditional blacksmith’s workshop, each balance model is individually cut, formed, assembled and carefully hand-painted. The carefully weighted pendulum base allows the figure to rock gently from side to side; as she moves, her back leg swings rhythmically while both arms rise and fall together, echoing the energy of a triumphant rally. The motion is smooth and continuous, settling naturally into equilibrium, honouring the historic craft of mechanical balancing toys.

Produced in small batches, subtle variations in finish and brushwork are the natural marks of true handcraft, giving each piece its own distinctive character and collectable appeal.
